DescriptionOur Client is looking for a talented Quality Assurance Leader to join our Digital Transformation Team.

As the VP of Quality Assurance, you will be an integral part of our Client's digital transformation.

You will build, strengthen and lead the Quality Assurance Team; you will enable modern quality assurance processes and practices; and you will partner directly with the business to deliver quality digital solutions to our associates and customers.

.    Key Responsibilities:

Define, lead and socialize the quality assurance strategy and approach for Lakeland Bank, that works with waterfall, hybrid and agile methods.

Assess the maturity of the Quality Assurance Practice; identify and execute against a clear, well communicated roadmap to increased maturity.

Refine and socialize / train associates on quality assurance policies, procedures, templates, etc.

Build and lead the quality assurance team, ensuring adequate resource coverage and coaching and guiding team members as they execute on key projects.

Ensure appropriate technology and tools are in place for effective quality assurance execution and measurement

Enable standards and capabilities in the spaces of test environment and data setup; manual testing, automated testing, integration testing, cross device/browser testing.

Collaborate with other competency leads (Project Management, Business Analysis, Solution Architecture, Support) and the Business to build out and collectively lead successful solution delivery

Support the Quality Assurance Team in the review of project plans, business requirements, functional specifications and design documents to create associated test strategies, test plans, acceptance criteria and implementation timelines.

Define and report on quality metrics across key projects.

Partner with the VP, PMO in the execution of Phase Gate Reviews for projects.

Establish and oversee quality assurance standards for vendors.

Actively contribute to Statements of Work to ensure quality assurance expectations are established and adhered to by third parties

Act as a Champion for quality and quality assurance testing

Ensure quality assurance processes, procedures, and standards are implemented and adhered to by the development and testing teams in a culture of continuous process improvement.

Act as Quality Assurance Lead on key initiatives, when needed, leading all aspects of test strategy, test plan development, test case creation, test execution, defect management, etc.

Partner with the Business Analysis Team and the Business as needed in the successful execution of UAT, supporting the business during UAT, partnering with Business Analyst and Business to document test scenarios and cases and re-test identified defects.

RequirementsBachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or scientific field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics.

Experience working in quality assurance testing practices (includes: continuous QA/UA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, test automation).

Experience leading quality assurance testing teams/practices.

Recent hands on experience executing QA test cases

Extensive experience with Agile delivery and methodology

Experience with developing QA testing strategies and managing defects.

Proficiency with Agile development tools such as JIRA, Service Now and QA testing tools.

Experience in cross-organizational collaboration and integration.

Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.

Superior attention to detail.

Strong Business Acumen.

Strong leadership skills along with the ability to develop and execute on strategy.

Advanced proficiency in QA methodologies and user acceptance best practices.

Experience with Selenium, Test Director, Service Now Test Management Suite and other defect management and automation tools.

Ability to interpret business needs and translate into test scenarios and cases.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor and ability to interact comfortably with all levels of staff, vendors and third parties.


Exposure to retail banking, commercial lending, call center or financial services environments preferred.

Experience testing both internal and customer facing app
